When Erikka isn’t performing stand-up or dreaming about being a starship captain, she’s probably busy writing. Her work covers music, movies, travel, cooking, technology, and anything else that seems interesting enough to write an article or a story about. CURRENT

Cheaters - wrote, acted in, produced, and directed a short, surreal film that takes a humorous look at cheating.

Don’t Feed the Yuppies - wrote (and produced) a surreal, b-movie style short film that describes office life for yuppies in a hilarious, somewhat brutal way.

Singles Who Mingle Pilot - head writer for a Susan Alexander project - a show called Singles Who Mingle.

Spec Script for The Office - wrote an episode of “The Office.” It’s set in Season 5 right before the Michael Scott Paper Company starts up.

EXAMINER.COM - San Francisco indie music reviewer for Examiner.com. She writes about what’s going on with local bands, who’s visiting from out of town and keeps you up-to-date on national indie news and festivals. If you’re an indie musician reading this, send her your contact info and any news about yourself!

FLIXSTER.COM - works on an as-needed basis for Flixster as a reviewer of video games and movies as well as a list writer. Recently she was commissioned to write a “Naughty or Nice” quiz for Flixster and Disney that ended up being popular. Her work does well on Digg and within the Flixster community.
