Got some cool news – I was invited to appear in a joke book called “My Joke Book.” They published 40 or so of my jokes in it along with a lot of other hilarious comedians. I just got the books in the mail and they look pretty sweet! Thanks to Paul Lander and Bryan Cox for inviting me to submit, and Steve Mittleman and Michael Vezo for making the books happen.

I carry these around to my shows, so if you decide you want one, lemme know!

Larry was pretty hilarious backstage. My favorite line of his was “I like girls with glasses. You know why? Less credible eye witness testimony.”

It was such a cool show idea that when they held auditions for a new christian comedian I tried out. While I didn’t make it, I had a great time auditioning and I still use the jokes I wrote for tryouts.

I was surprised and excited when they asked me to fill in for their christian comedian yesterday at San Luis Obispo Poly Tech. I ended up hosting and we each did about 20 minutes on the lineup. It was a lot of fun and I got to work with a lot of my favorite comedians from the bay area.

I’ve been remiss in posting blog entries, but here’s a new one for all of you! Comediva came to a round of the Funniest Female Competition I appeared in. They gave a review of the entire event and mentioned my set had “some of the smartest material of the night.” I guess ranting about feminism for three minutes pays off! For fans interested in seeing the rant, I’ll be posting it once I’m done working on it. The problem with a rant is once you start it’s hard to stop. I keep thinking of new things to add to the rant, but hopefully I’ll have a completed rant for all of you to check out soon!
