BIO

Nationally touring comedian and professional writer, Erikka Innes, is scoring high marks in comedy clubs all over CA. In high school, Erikka joined the chess team just so she could have a chance at getting laid. It didn’t work out so well. Since then, this nerdy, geeky young woman transformed herself into, as her friends and fans like to say… a “Full Blown Hottie Nerd Comic.” Her high-energy performances are a guided tour through a wonderland filled with unique, sometimes surreal observations about every day life, where D&D is the national pastime and William Shatner’s rendition of Rocket Man is the national anthem.

Erikka’s credits include national tours with “Five Funny Females” and “Women Who Kick Comedy Butt.” A former writer for the television show, “Fondle the Fear” and a columnist for “The OC Voice,” Erikka now works as a columnist for Examiner.com, a freelance writer for Flixster, and an on-camera interviewer for Sidewalks TV. This rising star has written articles for the “Vacaville Reporter” and the “SF Bay Guardian,” and produced her own wildly popular show “Geek Comedy Night” at venues all over California. She has had the honor of working with comedians Brad Williams, Michael Winslow, and Arj Barker, to name a few. Her act is smart, insightful, and her quirky innocence masks a dark, biting undertone. She is currently working on the hilarious “High School Reunion Comedy Tour” with her pal, comedian and geek Jimmy Turner. When Erikka’s not writing or performing she’s probably busy dreaming about being a starship captain.
